When skin looks dull, rough, or uneven
Your skin sheds dead cells all the time. With age, sun, and dryness, that shedding slows down. Old cells stay put, and skin looks dull, rough, and tired.
A light peel helps with that surface layer. It loosens old cells so they shed evenly over the next few days. Because it’s mild, it’s done as a series rather than one big peel.
What to expect during treatment
Plan on about 30 minutes. We cleanse your skin, apply the peel, and watch it closely. You’ll feel tingling and some warmth for a few minutes. Then the peel is removed, and we finish with a soothing moisturizer and sunscreen.
You may leave a little pink, like after a brisk walk outside. Light flaking follows over the next few days.
Who it’s for
Light peels suit you if your skin looks dull, rough, uneven, or tired, or if you want to try a professional exfoliating treatment with a short, predictable recovery. Brown and deeper skin can often have light peels too, with the peel chosen carefully and started gently.
For deeper concerns like acne scars or stubborn dark spots, askin consultation is the better first step.
How we do it
We offer light peels only, done by a licensed esthetician. We start with your skin tone, history, and products, then choose a peel for your skin instead of a one-size-fits-all formula.
Most people do a series of 3–6 peels, about a month apart. We adjust each one based on how your skin responded to the last.
Downtime and aftercare
- Expect some pinkness on the day and light flaking or dryness for 3–7 days.
- Don’t pick or peel flaking skin. Let it come off on its own.
- Cleanse gently and moisturize more than usual.
- Pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and scrubs until the flaking stops.
- Wear sunscreen every day and avoid strong sun during your series.
- Wait to wax the area until your skin has fully settled.
Results timeline
Days 1–2: skin may look pink and feel tight. Days 3–7: light flaking. Once it’s done, skin can look brighter and feel smoother. The bigger change builds across the series, especially with daily sunscreen.

Does a chemical peel hurt?
You’ll feel tingling, mild stinging, and some warmth for a few minutes while the solution is on. We watch your skin the whole time, and the feeling stops once the peel is removed.
Can a peel darken or burn my skin?
Any peel can irritate skin, and on brown and deeper skin, irritation can leave dark marks behind. That’s why we offer light peels only, start gentle, and watch your skin throughout. If your skin reacts, we adjust the next peel or pause.
Can I get a peel if I have brown or deeper skin?
Often, yes, when the peel is chosen carefully. We look at your skin tone and history first, start with a gentle peel, and build slowly. Daily sunscreen is part of the plan.
