Skin Consultation

Your first visit is about your skin, not a sales pitch. We look at your skin tone, history, and goals, then recommend the treatment and settings that fit your skin, not the other way around.

Planned for our opening on October 15, 2026. Join the waitlist and we’ll contact you when booking opens.

What you get

  1. A real conversation. How your skin tans and burns, what you’ve tried, any past reactions, your skincare, and medications that affect sun sensitivity.
  2. A close look at your skin. Your skin tone and the concern itself, whether it’s dark spots, redness, texture, or unwanted hair, in good light, with your goals in your own words.
  3. Your options, in plain words. Which treatments fit your skin, which don’t, and why.
  4. A test spot, when it makes sense. We treat a small patch first and check how your skin responds before a full session.
  5. Starting photos. Taken in the same light and from the same angles each visit, so you can compare progress.
  6. A written plan and its cost. What we recommend, in what order, and what it will cost.

No pressure, no commitment

Plan on 45–60 minutes. Leaving with a plan doesn’t commit you to it. You can book, take time to think, or come back with more questions.

Sometimes the right answer is better sun protection, a simpler skincare routine, or waiting a few weeks. With melasma, for example, we start with education, sun protection, and skincare. If something else will serve your skin better, we’ll tell you.

Questions and answers

What does the consultation cost?

Full prices publish October 15, 2026, before booking opens. You’ll see the consultation price before you book.

How long does it take?

Plan on 45–60 minutes. That’s time to hear your history, look closely at your skin, explain your options, and answer your questions without rushing.

Does the consultation commit me to a treatment?

No. You leave with a plan and what it costs. Whether and when to book is up to you, and there’s no pressure to buy a package.

Will anything hurt?

The consultation itself is a conversation and a close look at your skin. If a test spot is part of your visit, you may feel a quick sting or snap of heat on a small patch.

Can a test spot darken or burn my skin?

Any laser or light treatment can darken or burn skin if it isn’t matched to that skin. A test spot is how we check. We treat a small patch first and see how your skin responds before any full session. If it doesn’t respond well, we change the plan.

Do I need a consultation before a treatment?

For laser resurfacing, pigment and tattoo work, and spider vein treatment, yes. Those start with a consultation and an in-person skin exam before any session is booked. For everything else, your first visit starts with the same close look at your skin.

Why do you ask so much about my skin tone?

Your skin tone shapes which treatments fit you and how we set them up. The pigment in your skin reacts to heat and light, so we check your skin tone and history in person before any laser or light treatment is on the table.

Why do you take photos?

Photos in the same light and from the same angles at every visit let you compare progress over time. They stay in your private record and are never used in marketing without your separate written consent.

Can I be treated the same day?

Sometimes. It depends on the treatment, whether you need a test spot, and what we find. We won’t promise it ahead of time.

Who does the consultation?

A licensed member of our team. In Georgia, skin care and laser work are licensed separately, and we always list a practitioner’s license next to their name.

Can I ask about treatments that aren’t available yet?

Yes. We’ll talk through your goals across everything we offer or plan to offer. If the right fit isn’t available yet, we’ll say so, and you can join the waitlist for it.
